Watchdog promises to report on Gazprom's plant check in September

MOSCOW, Aug 10 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will present preliminary results of checks of Gazprom’s facility in Novy Urengoi that caught fire on August 5, no earlier than in the middle of September, head of the Federal Service for Natural Resources Oversight Svetlana Radionova said on Tuesday.

"We are checking the circumstances of Gazprom’s emergency (in Novy Urengoi). We will have preliminary results of these checks only by mid-September, I think," she told reporters.

She added that a preliminary assessment of air pollution will be ready by October.
